Why custom instead of stock
Stock cabinets come in fixed widths, so most kitchens end up with filler strips, dead corners and a gap above the uppers. Custom cabinetry is sized to the room you actually have.
That matters most in older homes, where walls are rarely square, and in kitchens with an odd window, a sloped ceiling or an appliance that does not match standard openings.
